ACPU is an automatic separation unit that uses the centrifugal force of a tubeshaped container and the elastic force of springs. It automatically operates based on the intensity of centrifugal force.Without additional operation, it washes, separates and concentrates cells and tissues, improving separation efficiency and minimizing human errors.
There are two ACPU models. One is for separation of cell layers containing SVF and the other is for separation of cell layers containing BMSCs.
A single unit includes a space for separation of cells and tissues, space for storing washing solution, space for wastes, passages for space connection and valves. Piston that operates based on the centrifugal force and elastic force of springs gathers cells and tissues.
